We have taken some photos of "Breakout Kings - Season One".
They represent actual movie quality.
Last year, a new TV show came out, Chase, about woman US marshal, whoextra ordinarily excel in all cases, be it tracking down felon, chase, fights and gun fights, the whole story evolve in one woman, in everyepisode. I have nothing against woman excelling more than men, but thewhole show came to revolves around one woman.Breakout kings is another US Marshal TV show, the difference? not much, except this one focus on team team, and the team members have lawproblem, but each individual talent contribute somehow to the pace ofthe show, despite their being convicts, I will recommend this one better than the Chase. After all, it takes a thief to catch another thief.
Who is watching this series and giving it 7+ ratings? I gave up over 4hours of my life to watch the first five episodes and this is terrible. It's boring, contrived (of course), and silly. I don't like any of thecharacters...no, let me rephrase that. I don't CARE about any of thecharacters. Go back to jail, get shot, save somebody's life...I don'tcare. All the police are total idiots. ("Wait. We had to releasesomeone from prison in order to learn that we should contact theescapee's past associates? Why didn't they tell us that in US Marshal'sschool?") As usual, the writer(s) have based the plots, conversations, anddetails on what they THINK that prisons, guards, law enforcementinvestigations, and convicted felons are like. They are quite wrong.OK, I've typed the minimum number of words. For the life of me, I can'tunderstand how anyone would watch this show every week, even for oneseason. What?? There's a second season?!? Oh, s***.
I'm one of those people who, when a season of a TV show is cancelled orfinishes, go on the prowl to look for my next show to watchreligiously. This is one of them.At first I thought this show didn't have much potential and wouldn't bewell received.. but i was wrong!Really interesting take on the genre, and I like the whole plot aboutusing ex cons to take out cons, whilst working with the police dept. All the characters do well and I have to mention Doc, the quirky andfidgety character who really shines.I watched the Season 2 Premiere last night, and I was utterly shockedat the outcome, I was NOT expecting that at all. Not sure if I thinkthis show will do well now because of that, but I'm certainlyinterested and intrigued to what will happen next, so I'm not going tospoil it for you folks, watch Season 2 Ep 1 and you'll see what I mean.Overall a really enjoyable show with likable characters, and I'll bewatching this until it's cancelled.
so far the show looks good , but it has a few plot holes as the personwho breaks out from prison always have a crime to commit or somethingbad to do when he's out .. no one escapes to be free or without motiveto do something bad .. also i think that no case ever solved in morethan one episode makes it a little boring after maybe 10 episodes ..bottom line that it's a good show but if you are going to compare itwith prison break it will be a huge step back unless something newcomes up. but if you consider it as a new idea away from prison breakit's actually very creative to use cons to help finding who everescaped from prisons .
why was breakout kings short i felt it was short and it is an hour longshow it started at 10 and it ended at 10:45 shouldn't it have endednearly to 11:00? other shows like pretty little liars and criminalminds end from 8:00pm to 9:00pm still an hour but on the other hand itis an interesting show and i will try to watch another episode sincepretty little liars will be off the air until the second season. butcant really say if its good or not until you have at least watched the2nd episode right? the characters seems cool i thought they were goingto show the murder chick but they didn't. and the male con seems tohave potential. and are they all prisoners and one cop? i found thepilot boring but interesting at the same time hard to explain but iwill watch another episode to wait and see
A great drama show. The characters are fully loaded with emotionalproblems and they will go far more to deal with it. It's an importantaspect for this kind of drama, cause there's also a presence of action.I'm very inspired with it, so hardly wait for next episodes. I think PBproducers will show us more and I believe it will be one of the bestshows =) I think, that Lloyd will have to deal with something romanticbetween him and assistant girl. Very interesting character, Ph.D, it'sso weird for the con. Shea has some sort of motivation, but I reallydon't understand what kind of it) Cause I think he's not like C-Note inPB, and his girl wouldn't wait him for so long, because he really lookstoo criminal. Philly is aÑ enigma for now, I really don't understandher behavior, but trailer said, that she will try to screw Ray in awhile, let's just see what it will look like) Ray is great, but, he'stoo soft for his character representation, dunno. The head guy is justusual, don't think, that he has any issues..
It's a show about US Marshals who track down escaped convicts by usinga team of other convicts for absolutely no reason. Nothing about thebasis of this show makes any sense. The only conclusion I can come upwith is that there's an untold back story regarding the two marshalsand how nobody else will work with them because they are so terrible attheir job that they need criminals to help catch criminals. Everyepisode is the same. Somebody breaks out, they come up with a list ofplaces that person might be going and then they catch him. So why areother criminals offered reduced prison sentences when they have nospecial skills that could aid in the capture of these fugitives?Probably because it's the only way to come up with a different hookfrom every other police drama on television. Avoid this show.
Prisoners getting their sentences knocked off for capturing othercriminals? The creators of Prison Break have done it again. I liked theseries premiere. The creators said it will be in a universe of PrisonBreak, so I wonder who will be in Breakout Kings. I normally don't likeone episode arcs, but this makes me change my mind.I can't wait to see T-Bag in this. I hope they also bring in characterslike Sucre and C-Note.If you loved Prison Break, you will probably like this. I can't waitfor next week to see the sexy Serinda Swan. Wentworth Miller would be agood character in this too.
IT TAKES A CON TO CATCH A CON - Driven by the fact that there are fewthings more dangerous than a prisoner who has just escaped, and tiredof following protocol and resorting to outdated methods of lawenforcement, veteran U.S. Marshals Charlie Duchamp (Laz Alonso) and RayZancanelli (Domenick Lombardozzi) are taking an unorthodox approach totheir work: using former fugitives (Jimmi Simpson, Malcolm Goodwin &Serinda Swan) to catch fugitives. "Breakout Kings" follows U.S.Marshals Charlie Duchamp (Laz Alonso) and Ray Zancanelli (DomenickLombardozzi) as they form a special task force composed of the threemost elusive convicts Ray ever captured: Lloyd Lowery (Jimmi Simpson),a former child prodigy and behaviorist/psychiatric expert whoexcels inpsychoanalysis; Shea Daniels (Malcolm Goodwin), an ex-gangbanger whoknows how to work the system, both in prison and on the street; andErica Reed (Serinda Swan), a sexy expert tracker who learned her tradefrom her bounty hunter father. Charlie and Ray also employ the servicesof Julianne Simms (Brooke Nevin), a civilian who acts as the "funnel"for the group  all information, tips and data go through her.
Breakout kings managed to have me hooked 20 minutes in the pilot.a teamof cops & with secrets.the bickering between the kings is one of thebest parts of the show along with great character development.the copsr looking to prove themselves the cons are trying to shorten theirsentences & must put up with each other to capture prison escapees suchas - spoiler alert........-A a female crimeboss who killed her son, aprisoner who was raped in prison hell bent on revenge,an honest familyman who collects & tortures women in his spare time & prisonbreaksTheodore t-bag bagwell.this show is addictive fun suspenseful &hilarious my my favorite show of 2011.season 2 premieres march 4th 2012
The more I see of this show, the more I like it. The characters areeach individual (meaning well-written and acted personalities) withdiverse backgrounds and issues all their own. One of the hooks (Ibelieve) is that each member of the team is a black sheep in someway...finding out what each of them have done (or can't do?) isprobably what will keep most people watching. The actors have awonderful chemistry, as well! Each episode, so far, someone breaks out of prison (the "bad guys" arealso unique and interesting) and our reluctant band of misfits has toround up said villain and essentially save the day. How they do allthis is what we watch for. Different every time...never lets up. Ifyou're not already watching, give it a go.
There is virtually nothing wrong with this program. The cons arelikable the story lines aren't recycled and the idea is creative, it'snot predictable. The relationship between characters helps you connecteasily, even the Marshall's have a story that in some way makes themless boring and all for the rules. Makes them as interesting as thecons who come across well, they are treated as they are suppose to asthey are violent, they are real criminals they aren't in prison forpetty crimes. Which makes the whole story more interesting to watch andintriguing when it gets down to what they will do. Overall it has theright amount of humour for this kind of program and the right amount ofaction and suspense not to make the story boring and repetitive.
The premise of the show alone compelled me to watch it. I like the consand find the profiler very entertaining. But the Domenick Lombardozzicharacter has to be softened up or written out - there is virtuallynothing likable about the guy. The leader of the outfit has been giventhe most predictable lines of anyone and he's an almost totally uselesscharacter. They treat the cons like sh#t while asking for their help -I would think there'd be a little more compassion for them consideringnone of them are in for violent crimes. The US gov't has long acquiredcrooks to better their work force...and it's not a bad notion. Thisshow could be developed into something a lot more than just crushingthe cons and expecting the audience to feel good about it. A goodpremise...bad writing and mis-casting.
I was very shocked how good this show has become. At first it was alittle shaky for the first few episodes, but it has become way moresolid!!! Each episode is so creative and unique. This show has endlessoptions on were to go!! It starts out with these cons who are catchingthese crazy people who escape from prison. It is weird, because eventhough these cons who help catch these prisoners who escape, have donesome pretty awful things, you really learn to love them and get to themfor who they are. The stuff they did is bad, but nothing compared tothe convicts that they are attempting to catch. I think this showreally keeps you at the edge of your seat. Especially since the "good"cons and the "u.s. marshals", are not that much different. I reallythink you should give this show a shot!
