Let's spend 190 million on CGI, 5 million on the rest

I'm a huge sucker for seeing a full movie. I almost walked out of hobowith a shotgun (because my moral fibers disagreed with it) and I nearlywalked out of this one cause I lost complete track of the story and allI could remember was a bunch of CGI robots destroying Chicago in 3-D.Michael bay, next time you make a movie, please slow down enough totell us what's going on. that's what's wrong with this one, along withthe stupid clichés and mistakes. And another thing, I never saw theoriginal transformers, but to hear the words "Transformers! More thanmeets the Eye" somewhere in the film would've made me smile. On a positive note, The 3D Effects in this one are actually reallygood. In most modern flicks they're a joke, only showing little bits of3D here and there, but in this one, objects were coming towards me alot so i have no complaints about spending the extra 3 bucks forglasses. Also, as mentioned in the headnote, The special effects looklike they had a majority of the budget spent on them.If you're looking to satisfy your craving for transformers, stick tothe TV show. it's on Teletoon Retro at certain times.

scifiactionfan (2012-05-26 09:48)

see it in 3D or wait for the DVD

1. 7/20 only because I saw it in 3D, 5/10 otherwise2. The gay-German accent of Dutch was annoying/fake3. Every time Carly was on screen I thought of trouty-mouth from GleeShe was very distracting because she seemed out of place4. The military was ineffective at the beginning of the war but at theend everything they shot blew up. Suspension of disbelief should atleast be consistent5. Way too long for such a simple plot6. They didn't even TRY to make some parts believable. It is one thingto expect the audience to suspend disbelief but another to think theaudience is made up of idiots

Hollow, superfluous, boring, cliché....

This movie is for the elementary school or junior high kids. If highschool teenagers like this movie, they are doomed to be shallow adultsin the future. What's the purpose of producing this stupid computerizedCGI craps one after another? This transformer crap should be endedafter the first one, because there's no more story that could be moreinteresting than the first one, all the series or sequels are justtrying to fool the general movie goers to spend mindless money to keepwatching it. Now, it's 3D, but does it make any big difference? Boringcharacters, boring designs of the transformers, boring scenario, plots(is there any?), endless explosions, endless catastrophic machinesfighting machines, machines fighting human beings, stupid dialog, stupid parents, stupid companies, stupid NASA, stupid militaryoperations, transformers of cars, flying robots, evil againstgood....blah, blah, blah, and blah. I've never seen so many stupid junkjammed into a stupid movie like this series. And this time, replacedone more stupid Victoria (underwears) girl who absolutely got no actingtalent at all to play the girl friend of that young actor who has sopathetically kept signing up for this stupid franchise. My younger son forced me to accompany him to watch this movie, butafter 20 minutes torture, I just couldn't stand it and told my son Idecided to wait outside. Yes, that's how bad it is. This stupid movieis for kids under 12, but the violence is definitely not for that agelimit. Somebody has to bash me with a baseball bat turning me into avegetable first, then I might be able to sit through out this movie.

Love Transformers, this was a bust.

I love Transformers. I watched the 80's cartoons, read the comics and loved the original movie. With that said, i'm realistic to the constraints of movie making and go in open minded. This was horrible. Why? Because it was forced on us. The girlfriend was 100% not necessary. Totally forced on horny teens. The soldiers were useless, haven't they learned from the 1st movie that bullets have no use? 1 hour + on useless soldiers. The whole getting a job plot and NASA coverup, was either wasted or lost. It looked like 2 different movies. A cheaper, but decently scripted 1st half and a John Woo 2nd half. Entertaining for sure, but just don't try to make sense of the jumbled plot.

Definitely A Let-down

okay I'm no professional reviewer and i have read many of the reviewsfrom here but i was left so highly dissatisfied with this film i feltfor once in my life i needed to at least share my 2c.This film had no central cohesion between anything be it the humans,Autobots or the Deceptacons. The Autobots just traipsed around and didall the fighting, the humans just had a bunch of close-ups and a lot ofyelling and 'awesomeness love for them-self' and the Deceptacons didNOTHING.I felt that at least with the other films the Deceptacons had a greaterinput and the story led to the Deceptacons having a true purposethroughout the film and that once there was a fight scene, there was anecessity for that scene albeit not always but generally. This timeround the Deceptacons were the last aspect they had a thingy-mabob andit was the centre and they defended it and thats about it. They neededto hunt for sentinel or the Autobots or something..I noticed in this movie (probably due to its length) that there is ahell of a lot of cars just driving around with loud 'The saviour's arecoming' type music. okay so i like nice cars, actually I'm a sucker forthem, but there would have to be a good 20 minutes of this in themovie; it seemed somewhat of a space filler and it made me think.. howthe hell can all the Deceptacons seem to have the ability to fly andyet the Autobots have to drive (sometimes over rocks in a 458 Italialike come on the front would have been ripped off way back) to the epicbattle and then out of no where Optimus has the jet engines again, something he ditched from the second movie where the hell did he getthem i didn't see the truck with jets (it would have made a bit of acool upgrade to see) My biggest gripe is with that blonde bimbo and dempsy < i dunno how tospell his name frankly i don't give two poops. that bimbo cant act, mostly her lines were just yelling 'SAM!' anyone could do that, hencethe bimbo, but her fake botox lips made me feel sick. Okay so she has arocking body and many would want to tap that but geeze we havecalendars, mags, REAL GF AND WIVES for that. I payed to seetransformers, the central characters, and better characters i thoughtconsidering the input of the them in the last movie. i may be wrong buti felt at least in the last ones the transformers where the central andthe humans were there because they were on earth so they had to bethere. Dempsy.. well he is just a tug, his character is a tug and whenhe tries to act 'cool' to a younger (less than 40 year old women)audience he continues to 'tug' that appendage attached to his forehead.A completely unnecessary character much like the bimbo who can have 10explosions behind and look like there is a slight breeze coming fromsomewhere.. please i know this may have been a bit of a rant and i probably cant reviewproperly but there was just not that magic feeling i felt when i seenthe first two. I grew up with transformers, i had transformers, i feltlike a kid again and that some of the dreams i had about transformerswere coming to life in the first two films (obviously not specifically,I'm not a mental) which was just not there with this.. sadly, becausewe all somewhat liked the last films we are bound to see this one andtherefore, there will be a good sales figure at the end of the day andBay will be labeled a 'god' and his appendage will be left bone dryfrom all the media outlets hailing him as such... sad sad sad

Expectations Received with a topping!

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is about an Autobot ship escaping planetCybertron during the war for Cybertron. The Autobots cargo on the shipwas something that could end the war for Cybertron. The Autobotsdiscovered that the space ship that was lost, has been on the moon. They go to the moon and revive Sentinal prime with the matrix. TheDecepticons use Sentinal Prime and have been waiting for Optimus Primeto revive Sentinal (Because Optimus is another prime and only primescan revive each other.) so that the Transformers race does not die off.Sentinal and the Decepticons plan on taking over the earth, andbringing Cybertron to planet Earth using the cargo on the Autobot ship.Only Sentinal can power the technology that was on the ship. TheDecepticons start to become in power and start taking over planetEarth. Humans for there own benefits (To live and not become a slave.)side with the most likely winning team the Decepticons. The Autobotsknow fighting for humanity and freedom must take down the PowerfulDecepticons and the one powerful Sentinal Prime. Sam (Shia LaBeouf)also returns to help the Autobots.First off I want to say the movie was nothing like I expected. like Iread I thought the Autobots and Decepticons were going to race to themoon. That is false. So I was served with nothing I expected. That saidIt was better than I expected! My Expectations were so great for this film. I was super exited! I am ahuge fan of the other Transformers movies as well. The Preview forTransformers: Dark of the Moon was almost better than both Transformermovies. The only thing missing was the plot. So I was Double pumpedabout this movie!! When I saw the opening 30 minutes or so... I waslike "Is this Transformers?" because it was so different seeing Samgetting a job, and not living with his parents. But everyone grows up,even in movies.Seeing Ken Jeong from the Hangover was a little over the top, thoughhis character did fit well in the movie. They could of had him not haveany jokes or anything. I also thought that Optimus Primes trailer was alittle weird but I thought it was also cool at the same time becauseMichael Bay went original with Primes Trailer. The Action and Special effects were again outstanding! Applause forMichael Bay!The Plot was outstanding, I loved it, I couldn't ask for anythingbetter for a Transformers movie! I loved how the Decepticons werebringing planet Cybertron over to earth. Also adding Sentinal Prime tothe movie was a great surprise! I was proud of the story and was moreinterested in the story than the action. The Emotion and love between Sam and Carly in this movie was way morestronger than Sam and Mikaela in the previous Transformer movies. Thankyou Bay for not putting Megan in this movie! Rosie Huntington-Whiteleywas an outstanding actor for her Debut role in Transformers: Dark ofthe Moon. I loved her voice, her lips, and her body. I enjoyed lookingat her more than Megan Fox. Yes I just said I think she is by far morebeautiful (Not hot because it is extremely rude to call a girl hot.)than Megan Fox. Anyway The Emotion and Love in the film was magnificent. For those whohave seen this move, I love and almost cried during the scene whereBumble bee was driving the space ship over to Dylan's Building and Samjumped off the space ship and was looking for Carly, then Laserbeakpushed Sam off the edge of the building and Sam came back up on theedge of the space ship and screamed "Carly." right then I knew the lovefor them two characters was so strong!! I almost cried! It wasspectacular. This entire film was so amazing to see, and I am going back to thetheater to see this film again. The Stroy was Strong, The Action wasMagnificent, and The Love between Sam and Carly was so so unbelievable.I was so proud of this movie! Even though this was supposed to be thelast Transformers film for Michael Bay and Shia LaBeouf but I think itwould be cool to make another film or to make a movie calledTransformers: War for Cybertron obviously a prequel and with out Shiabut about the war for Cybertron.Overall I give this movie a 10/10. See this move in Theaters, Iguarantee it is well worth the money!A+

Awesome!!!

Contains some spoilers peeps so if you don't want to know what happensthen go away and stop looking at reviews because the majority of themhave spoilers you morons. The action in this film is absolutely mind-blowing especially in 3D.The last hour of the film is non-stop action of Optimus and his buddieskicking decepticon punk ass. The story is not as confusing as otherreviewers say mainly because they are daft and can not watch filmsproperly, this story is easy to understand the decepticons have hiddenpillars around the earth and a decepticon army is buried on the moonawaiting the orders of Megatron or a certain traitor Sentinel Prime (Hekills Ironhide you know).Oh yes everyone, this film is pretty darn good and i recommend it toall fans of the first two films. If you haven't seen the first two thenyou shouldn't be reading this god for saken review, otherwise enjoyyour viewing of this great filmThanks for reading this Yours faithfully :) Laters

It makes me sad really...........

First let me say I have been reading review for years and NEVER written one, but feel the need to this time! Where do you start? The storyline was not only confusing but it jumped forward, back and I'm sure sideways at one point.I went to see this with my husband and 8yr old son, during the "many" explanations of the plot my son announced "this is soooo boring" to which people around agreed. Why on earth do they feel the need to dress women like hookers in this movie? The first one with Megan Fox was the only one where the girl was in "normal" daily clothing. The new girls acting wasn't great but then it wouldn't have mattered all she did the whole movie was scream and literally someone dragged her from point A to B (you'll see!)To sum it up, they could have made this 149mins (and it feels like every minute) movie in about 70mins, cut out all the story line explanations, put it WAY more action and had a decent flick.PS why is Sam broke and his parents are running around in a 250,000 RV ?? How did he meet English girl? Where did the computer robot come into the story? How did prime senior and megatron make a pact years ago when megatron was frozen in ice for billions of years? So many questions, NON are explained, yet the explain things ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE MOVIE! If you feel you must see this, save money, do not do 3D you will be upset!

Great but meh?

*This is from my own experience of the movie, I never watched thecartoons nor will I compare the film to it. I have watched the firstand second movie of the trilogy.PROS:-Action filled, great CGI-Bumblebee-HAS a story line this time-Megan Fox was not in this film, she was only there as Sam'sgirlfriend, nothing else, she does not know how to actCONS: -The movie was WAY too long in my opinion-Bumblebee BARELY had any action-The new girlfriend of Sam had the same exact role as Megan Fox, allshe did was yell "SAM!" throughout the whole movie, lame. I know.-Ironhide died 1/3 of the movie? WHY?-It's always Optimus having all the action, the only Autobots I reallyknow are Optimus, Ironhide, and Bumblebee, since Ironhide died, well..I don't really know the rest of them, and it would be nice to see therest of them in actionSummary: I am a sucker for action films, but I went in with highexpectations since the opening day, it got a 7.5/10 on this website, the movie was not disappointing, I don't understand why everyone iscomplaining. People seriously need to go into a theater with an openmind rather than comparing it to the cartoons.

I think my brain developed a tumour watching this...

At least, that's the only reason I can think of for it pounding sohard. And no, I didn't even watch the 3D version. So here we go again, another edition of Bay-watch. In this episodewe'll discover that Michael Bay is still suffering from terminal 5year-old syndrome and is unable to do anything that might remotelyinterest an adult audience.I could wax lyrical about film-making, the effects, the acting etc. Butall that would do is give Bay some credibility and admit that heactually produced a movie, instead of the headache inducing,brain-inflaming mess that I just watched. So instead, whilst it's still horribly, and garishly, fresh in my mind,I'll spell out the things I observed from this hideous assault on thesenses.1. When Bumblebee is a car, he is spotless. Not a scratch on him. Butwhen he is a robot he is battered and scratched (even the car parts).Good continuity there...not! 2. Rosie Doodad Whats-her-name cannot act and has lips that were soover-pumped I thought Bay was going to have them explode, too.3. Building design has reached the stage where it is almost impossibleto destroy a skyscraper, no matter how much abuse you subject it to.4. Let's give our alien robots human-like traits and personalities, right down to ethnic accents. Because, like, you know all alien speciesdevelop like humans, right? 5. Planets that are teleported right next to each other won't cause theslightest gravitational disturbance, honest! 6. If in doubt, make cuts that make no sense and miss out vital bits ofthe story. Instead, leave in the bits that are totally pointless, likeSam's parents and the rubbish actress with rubber lips.7. Chemistry. 5 year olds like Bay don't know much about that, which iswhy the pairing of La Bouef and Rubber Lips have none.8. If in doubt, explosions! People love explosions! Explosions for twohours! No plot or meaningful dialogue, just explosions! 9. Bumblebee's speech processor...they still haven't fixed it afterthree movies. Just what kind of highly "advanced" alien robots arethese that they can't fix that? 10. Tomahawk cruise missiles...can apparently be used to target aerialcombatants. No, seriously! It's in the movie! It must be true.11. No, that's enough. My brain is reaching meltdown. I can't type anymore.Needless to say, if you're bored enough to risk watching this...DON'T!If you're that bored then watching this will KILL you! It's totallymind-numbing and tedious. Suitable only for those with exceedingly lowexpectations and even lower IQ's.SUMMARY: Dull, 45 minutes too long, a terrible assault on the sensesand the intelligence. There, I've warned you...don't come crying to mewhen you have an aneurysm from watching it.

Get to the movies as soon as you can!

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! Get to the movies as soon as you can! 4 Starsladies and gentleman, I believe Micheal Bay, his cast and crew deserves4 big fat stars on "Transformers: Dark of the Moon".It was widely admitted that "The Revenge of the Fallen" was not verywell accepted by the viewers as the 1st installment of the"Transformers". I am beginning to believe now that even directorMicheal Bay agrees with this trail of thought. Back to the drawingboards it was for him and the team. They must have done some extensiveresearch at the pre-production stage of "Transformers: Dark of theMoon". A noteworthy comeback to the franchise and if I may so; a mustwatch movie of the summer. I would fearlessly say that this will have astanding at the top 3 movies of the summer of 2011. Viewer preferencewise and box office wise. Micheal Bay is a favorite of mine since"Armageddon" and for those of you who know his work, he has used everymethod in his big book of secrets in this summer hit. "Transformers"was always said to be too much of action and metal clanking together, whilst this cannot be avoided, this time round, the entire movie isdominated by the humans and a plethora of emotion in comparison withthe previous movies. There is a bit of "Armageddon" and "Pearl Harbor"carefully blended in with the Autobots and the Decepticons. Amagnificent musical score that compliments the scenes with immensedepth, edge of your seat CGI, Cinemax, Stunt choreography and deepconcentration in some lovely character development is what you areabout to experience. Maybe even more but definitely none less!Megan Fox is no more; I have to address that concern, don't bedisheartened; Rosie Huntington-Whiteley the Victoria's Secret diva hassome wicked talent. She is amazingly talented and is stunninglyconvincing and yes indeed an Aphrodite on screen. Shia LaBeouf, JohnTurturro, Josh Duhamel & Tyrese Gibson are at their very best. Hardcoreto the cause and determined for victory, they carry the entire storyline along with Whiteley onto the highest levels of the Trilogy. Deepconnections between the humans and the machines are introduced andconcentrated on shifting the paradigms of viewing pleasure atwell-timed intervals. Introducing John Malkovich and Ken Jeong toassist Kevin Dunn & Julie White with the comic relief within the 157Minutes is shrewd choice. Even I did check my watch once since I feltthe length of the movie (Another typical Micheal Bay Trade Mark)however, the choice of the addition of such characters for comic reliefwas needed, and rightly chosen talent indeed. Need I say more?If I am to pick a bone, I would pick the writing. However to make sucha great movie out of the toys I played with back as a kid, I am justgoing to let this one go!Title: Transformers: Dark of the Moon Directed by: Micheal BayStarring: Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington – Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, JohnTurturro, Tyrese Gibson, Ken Jeong & John Malkovich Rated: Rated PG-13for intense prolonged sequences of sci-fi action violence, mayhem anddestruction, and for language, some sexuality and innuendo Rating:08/10 157 Minutes

He Delivered.

In the world of smart phone applications, companies say that to publishan app, it must do what it says it does. Two years ago, critics slatedRevenge of the Fallen with biased views and poor excuses. And soMichael Bay went away and created a film which has everything the fansand critics asked for. It has action, emotion, comedy and depth. Hesaid he was going to create an action film and not one person can saythat he has failed. The benchmark has been set for any future actionmovie and it is a tribute to both great science fiction stories and theTransformers franchise that this creation has grown into such awonderful cinematic experience for any movie lover. If you dislikeexplosions and cutting-edge CGI, don't watch this film. But for whatwas asked of him, and for what we deserved as fans... Michael Baydelivered.

The Most Entertaining of the Three (Spoiler Alert)

Let me start with a preamble: I liked the first movie and was disappointed with the second movie. The second movie was too long, too convoluted and too corny with jokes that were often times too sexualized for me to like. I really feel that the third movie strikes the right balance between action and plot and although slightly long (hence the A- in direction) and missing Megan (hence the story issues), the amazing visuals more than make up for any weaknesses in the film. First, the story - the whole concept of using the dark side of the moon and the space race of the 60's as a back drop to this movie was genius. I found it totally believable that we would have raced the Russians to the moon because of this "event" and kept it from the public. I loved the use of Buzz Aldrin. I completely believed that Sentinel Prime would work with the Decepticons. I completely believed the main thrust of the story from start to finish. The only thing that didn't work completely was the willingness of Shia to risk everything to go into the war zone of Chicago for his new girlfriend. There simply was not enough depth to that relationship to support his actions, his feelings for her or her feeling for him. It would have been more believable if she was just using Sam and was really with her boss, played well by Patrick Dempsey. The acting was probably the weakest part of the movie, although the cast was much stronger than the first two save for the replacement girl friend who I just could never quite warm up to. She was somewhat stiff and unbelievable throughout. I did enjoy the parents, the wacky secret agent, the CIA director, Patrick Dempsey as the girl friend's boss and of course John Malkovich. The direction was good, although the movie could have been edited down maybe 15-20 minutes. I think Michael Bay loved the visuals a bit too much to cut out unnecessary scenes, but he should have done so. The pacing was amazing from start to finish. The visuals were the best I have seen since Avatar, and maybe better. The Chicago scenes were so believable, someone should win an Oscar for those alone. No reasonable person could expert better in the highway fighting scene. I was thoroughly impressed and I just saw it in 2D. I will be going back to see it in 3D. Overall, this was the best action movie I have seen this year. It wasn't perfect (Megan was the biggest missing piece) but it was definitely worth seeing and i will see it again.

marcus-mosesson (2012-05-20 03:42)

And I who thought that it couldn't get worse...

Okay, this is the deal: I really like the first Transformers movie, because of its charm, action and interesting story. I was VERY excitedwhen the sequel, Revenge of the Fallen, was released; but that was oneof the biggest disappointments of my life: bad jokes, horrible story,cheesy/corny/childish manuscript (seriously, Optimus saying "Let'sroll!"?!) and other horrible stuff. After that movie, I stopped being afan of the whole concept. And then, when a third movie's coming, reviewers are positive. I giveit a little chance, and pray to God that it's at least less bad thanRevenge of the Fallen. But it was the opposite: it was even worse.I can't believe how it's possible to fit so many bad (a.k.a. "funny")jokes into a single movie, that's not intended to be a comedy. I hopedthat at least the jokes would be better, but they weren't at all: theonly thing I really laughed to was when they showed a picture of Sam(Shia) shaking hand with Barack Obama. But that was it.The story and dialogue was horrible, and I can't believe how ANYONEmature can have the balls to actually write this piece of crap (excusemy French, as we say in Sweden). I thought the story was bad in thesecond movie, but this was just... A piece of junk. Bad ending too.The acting was okay, but I didn't really care. The voices for therobots were so bombastic that I was almost laughing. It felt like acartoon for kids!Besides that, the special effects were awesome (as always), though infact, I actually got tired watching robots killing each other andhelicopters exploding; how many times haven't you seen that before??!!For the patriotic part, I don't find anything explicit with that. WHYNOT fight and proclaim for freedom? Communists and anti-Americans mightget angry, but I don't see any big deal with that. But anyway, let'snot influence too much politics in this.Overall, this is just rubbish. If you aren't tired of watching giantrobots shooting at and fighting each other, and don't care theslightest about any story depth at all, then go for it! My friend whowas with me when we saw it actually said: "This movie doesn't have anystory at all, and that's why it's so freaking good!" Maybe that's theway to see it. But for me, I say no.

Simply awesome

Last night i lay in bed a little nervous because i had heard differentpeople say bad things about this movie.....Bad acting and lack ofaction were the main reasons people were whining. I am a transformersfan and i have been since the G1 cartoon series all those years ago soit would have to be shocking for me not to like it....I love the firsttwo movies as well.In the first maybe half an hour i was a little disappointed with thecomedy element as i found some of it boring and unnecessary, yeah i didlaugh a few times but i kept moving in my chair a bit worried in casethat was what it was gonna be for the whole 2 hours 55 mins......Boywas i wrong......This is one of the best movies i have ever seen for pure adrenalinfuelled action and mind boggling special effects......It really isstunning in every sense of the word, for the people who told me theacting was bad....What movie were you watching ? I mean seriously whatdo people expect these days ?If anyone is thinking about whether to go watch thismovie.........Please go and see it i'm sure 9 times out of 10 you willnot be disappointed......

Dark of the Moon: American Nationalism

good special effects, but this movie terrible. there is nothing moreAmerican nationalism. Michael bay to leave the job. i don't recommendthis movies. transformers series has disgraced...there is no needAmerican flag and American heroism. i think the best scene in the filmrobot fights. i really have a hard time believing that anyone enjoyedthis movie. this movie could have been so great. it could have beenamazing. it could have been the best transformers yet. but it wasn't.it wasn't even close. the story was terrible. The main character thattook over in this can't remember his name because I just don't see howhe could be that good for this kind of movie as the others. Any whothis was the worst one out of the two movies. Not only the PG-13 deal, but the plot sucked and characters really did not draw me in as theothers.

Dark Of The Moon Is The Best of The Summer !!!

transformers dark of the moon is the best movie I have seen 3D in mylife, I loved to special effects, my mouth fell open when the machineprime fight with giant robot! was entertaining, I felt no time. I wentto see at 10 am and neither felt the time, so if I did not like was theend was very short, which impressed me is that Sentinel Prime is thevillain of the movie and was simply not shock wave bad and does notspeak! Congratulations to Micheal bay I loved this movie! said thedamage done transformers revenge of the fallen! I recommend them to allwho were sad and disappointed Transformers 3 this is the best of the 3movies

I think that we should all go Uwe Boll on Michael Bay's ass.

Man, I would like to see that arrogant a-hole Uwe Boll beat the crapout of another arrogant bastard - Bay. If not that, well, fire Bay.Right now! I can't stand his movies anymore and this was the worst"Transformers" film I have ever seen, to be honest I never liked thefirst two films, also. I say, let's impeach Bay and cut of his loinsfor ruining already ruined trilogy. Now! This is a final, ultimate battle of giant robots and humans. Andwe get to see an infinitive abundance of special effects andunnecessary explosions, but Bay, being a master of explosions, how dareme to keep Bay away from his explosions?! Shia LaBeouf entered in ahigh irritating mode, Josh Duhamel was there... well, he was there, with no exceptions, John Turturro was there, again for a comic relief,John is a great actor, but he did this for the money. Tyrese Gibson...again... he was there with a dry humor as most of his military crew.Rosie Huntington-Whiteley... a replacement for Megan Fox. I didn'tactually care for Mikaela, but without her, a half of audience lossesan impression from the previous films, so Bay had to pull out anothertalentless beauty, by the looks of things... Rosie, a well known model,no talent for acting at all, her lips were freaking terrible! Her lineswere... well everybody's lines were horrifying! Her shoes did a lotbetter performance than her. Patrick Dempsey, what a hell is he doinghere? Except playing a traitor of human race, that was disgusting. Abad villain. With no charisma... no charm. Nothing! Terrible character.Frances McDormand and John Malkovich, two greatest actors on the castlist did this for money also. And they were both there for some dryhumor! Julie White and Kevin Dunn were again there as Sam's parents...well actually I am a cartoon G1 fan and I call him Spike, not Sam, andSpike... didn't have a mother! Alan Tudyk, a former Firefly co-star, hewas good. Ken Jeong? The most irritating guy ever in the film. Onlybecause the fame of "Hangover", Bay was like "Let's take this dude, theratings will be higher" No! It's just making things worse! The worstcharacter ever! Buzz Aldrin? What a hell?! OK, now for the robots, I have never understood the idea and conceptwhen it comes to the design of robots in this film. But, that'spassable, I'll leave that alone. But, when it comes to the personality, robots didn't have it. They were totally without any personality orsoul. Bumblebee is a retard again, decepticons are just evil... withoutany characteristics... I rest my case!

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley ruined it

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley ruined the movie for me. My ears were bleeding every time she would scream or yell. It was horrible. And what's up with her unnecessary slow motion solo scene she had towards the end of the movie? Wow. Really?
