Bad Movie, good dancers in real life

If I could have given zero stars I would have. I'm glad I used a freerental from Redbox to watch it because I would have wanted my moneyback. I expected a lot better. Some of the Actors or should I saydancers are really great in there personal video's, on YouTube, inother movies. I had high expectations. But what I got was half @$$dancing. Bad dialog, and a plot that has been done way too many times.If you though some of the dancers were good or you felt like they werenot allowed to show there full potential, then look up some of thenames in a video search engine and watch how good they really are.Example Christian " Prince Mio" Loclair , Chase Armitage and his crew3RUN, or maybe Kristy Flores. Skip the movie watch You Tube.

OMG what a waste of time

This has to be one of the most shameful movies i've ever seen...theyshould have called this movie lame!..lame dancing, lame acting, lamestoryline...Everything about it was so lame....I would be very ashamedto have been involved in this movie and would request my name removedfrom the Credit if I was...Big waste of time...And OMG that final 1 on 1 battle at the end was so LAME...TyroneBrown's routine looked like a white man from Texas attempting tofreestyle...very shameful...And his one flip I was OMG that was soLAME...Haha this movie goes down as the worst movie I've ever seen!...The Brazil team sucked bad.I really hope the Director and Producer do not release any more moviesfor good of mankind. The only thing positive out of the movie was theBrit guy who did mad flips everywhere...And the locking crew was OK...

Not very good.. :(

I would say only one group could actually hold a beat and reallydance.. The Asian group. Well I think they were. Anyway if you watchthe movie you will know. Needed much more dancing. Good dancing. Noteven comparable to the first movie. Or any other dance movie.So don'tget your hopes up and don't sit back to be ready to dance with themovie lol. Not good at all.I can't dance myself so who am I to talk butI do know good dancing.But understandble the movie had to be made.Justshould have been made properly.Stomp The Yard.. Idlewild..:) .. DanceFlick.. just kidding.. but seriously this movie needed a lot of work.Only cost me 1.50 to buy so its going in my give away stack for theholidays.

Awesome babes...Bad movie

First of all, I am a big fan of the first You Got Served. Making thismovie was the biggest mistake made in this kind of genre. The plot waslousy, the lines were somewhat picked up from a 60's TV show, actingwas disgusting although the announcer of the crews did a nice job!About the choreography, I have seen better moves and routines from theshow "Britain's got talent" but not to be unfair, there were, here andthere, a few awesome moves but generally it was boring to watch. Mytwo-star-rating goes to the beautiful women in the movie as I shouldhave given it a 0. To all of you how have seen the movie and expectedbetter from it...You Got Served!

THIS WAS THE WORST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN

Out of a very boring and formulated lousy screenplay

The Hip-Hot competition did not look like an international one butlocal event. If it's international, all the countries participatedshould have their competitions first until the best team won andqualified for the so-called "International" competition. But theso-called "Beat The World International Competition" was nothing but asort of backstreet event in one of the American city. The participatingteams, especially the team from Brazil was so bad and so mediocre thattheir dancing skill was even worse than their English. There's nothingso international at all, because you could easily tell most of theseboys and girls actually lived in America, they just played as foreignyoung people. The screenplay was so bad that it didn't fall apart fromthe very beginning because it never solidified at all in the firstplace. There was no scenario or plot, everything was just sopredictable and so deadbeat boring. The so-called competition dancing,the romance, the maverick or the dark horse, the foe or friend, thenormal middle class family, the high school drop-out, themisunderstanding, the quarrel, the fights, the cheating, thehelplessness...and so on, all the ingredients used in this patheticmovie were old stuff that had already been used maybe thousand times inother crappy movies. There's nothing newer or better than all themovies in the same genre we have already seen before.

Worst hip-hop dancing movie

If you thought you are going to be amazed by this movie that followedthe first "You got served" -- you're going to be very disappointed.When the first movie appeared, even though it had bad reviews asstoryline and / or acting, the dancing was sick, and it wasrevolutionary. Someone "got served", there were battles, but first ofall there were DANCERS. After 7 years in which urban dance evolvedincredibly, "Beat the world" comes with an even worse script, nodancing (except for some poppers and lockers), no routines, nothing !!!It just blows … As a professional dancer and choreographer, "You gotserved" was a key in what street-dancing should look like, and after 7years the sequel just made my sleepy. Very disappointed.

hip hop flop

This movie completely surpassed my expectations.... as to how bad itwould be. I was expecting the terrible acting. I was expecting a nearlynon-existent story with more holes than a fine swiss cheese.Unfortunately I was also expecting some jaw-dropping dance moves, whichis ultimately the only reason anyone would put themselves through amovie like this. However in this respect the movie totally failed. Thedancing is almost completely uninspiring. I have recently been watchingthe TV show "Americas best dance crew", which is the only reason Iwatched Beat the World, but in comparison the dancing in the movie isjust Lame, with a capital L. I feel violated.
